Yunnan Mint 20 Cents

New Edition

I post below is an email received from Mr. M. T. of Singapore on 5 Nov 2008. The email is self-explanatory.

Hi L K Leung,

Pls take a look at the photo in the attach files. Pls give me informations on this coins.

Thanks

M T

It is believed that this coin was minted by the Kunming Mint of Yunnan Province in 1908, or the 34th year of the Reign of Emperor Kuang Hsu (Guang XU) of the Qing Dynasty. Another source denotes that this coin was minted in 1911.

Thanks for Michael's email to me and view the images of the coin below please.
