I post below is an email received from Mr. M. T. of Singapore on 5 Nov 2008. The email is self-explanatory. Hi L K Leung, Pls take a look at the photo in the attach files. Pls give me informations on this coins. Thanks M T It is believed that this coin was minted by the Kunming Mint of Yunnan Province in 1908, or the 34th year of the Reign of Emperor Kuang Hsu (Guang XU) of the Qing Dynasty. The Obverse bears the legend "Kuang Hsu Yuan Pao" in the centre in Chinese and Manchurian, with "minted in Yunnan Province" and the face value of 1 qian 4 fen 4 li (20 cents) above and below the centre, and floral stars on each side. The reverse bearsa dragon pattern in the centre with floral stars flanking it.
