Hong Kong One Dollar Note

Note No. 117

This note was designed with two oval frames showing the helmeted head of Britannia in print on left and in watermark on right dominating the blue and white design of the note with the denomination at the bottom overprinted with two signatures. They are signature of A. C. Hynes, Chief Manager of the bank and signature of the Chief Accountant. Date and serial number also printed.
On the reverse was a woman holding a torch in the centre and the Bank's symbol on the right with a purple background. This note was printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., Ltd, London.
