Hong Kong One Dollar Note

Note No. 119

This note was designed with a dark violet main frame where GOVERNMENT OF HONG KONG appears at the centre with the denomination on the four corners, Government's Chinese name at top centre. Denomination in English and Chinese in the centre and a printed signature of S. Caime who was the Financial Secretary from 28th June 1931 to 15th July 1937, on the bottom. Two oval frames containing respectively a portrait of King George VI and the denomination in two Chinese characters on either side. Serial number printed on the top right and ower left covers.
On the reverse is an oval frame surrounded on two sides with fancy designs of leaves and circles in centre GOVERNMENT OF HONG KONG at top and $1 on four corners.
